Hot on the heels of last year’s longplayer „artistocrazy“ (September, 13th 2019, Emerlad & Doreen), Eric Schemer and Fred Scholl have used their off-time to create a series of singles of which each one delivers infecteous grooves. The pairings of 5 x 2 Songs in a classical A/B-side vein is a tribute to quaranteenager’s playlists and their streaming behavior.

What listeners get with every release is not only a Warhol-esque selection of toilet paper roll-motives, but a mixture of modern electronic beats, ballsy basslines, fiery guitarwork and mutant noises. On top of that Fred Scholl delivers some of his most laconic lyrics, which he developped mostly from everyday observations.
