Tyranny of Choice The Arts of Destruction Unraveled The Tyranny Of Choice The Plethora Of Ploys As an idea person I am asked to use cultural filters Don’t cross the cheese line Don’t mess with the quantize Don’t you ever change keys more than twice You’d better throw things in that stick Use echoes, machines, magic tricks Established vintage gear, you traded yesteryear Which run on the verge of giving up the ghost Take sound back through a valve Use tape, record reel to reel Perfection is cold and stiff to our ears Not what we’re designed for Without human feel. The gung-ho-like confrontation of realizing how uneducated you are The naivity that resonates is the ignorance of confidence in youth. the state of music’s existence other than in a computer take it out and give it some air choose bits not perfect, no loopers

Phases 04:29
Phases Elevate, Sink or Waver Whoever knows what's coming next? Sure those who tailor do their best? Sure those who trail will suit ya? Whatever scheme has paid off Whoever cool cunt competes best Someone to belittle? Someone let a light shine through! And you're not breaking down The survey undergone Can't be no more plentyful Better prospects and hunting grounds Still you're clutching your crown It won't last long, hold on Can't be no more bountyful Exploiting markets and data profound Then you're watching around... What's the deal? What's The trend? The survey undergone... Can't be nor more questionable Chasing dreams of a moribund Is there more to be found? Than pervy nature's blunt Careering heart-attack man Where will you go when the growth will go down? While you're watching around Staying alive If there's a question what's the globals strife what societies gripe are not the wonders in life but the little things that matter most it's the rarest cost

Scenes from 84 Quietly sitting on a sidewalk Like ant parade the rush sets in Street cleaners suck the waste from day-long Flipping butts while poking bins Bag ladies and some back-street creatures fighting over junk and booze The passengers are not amused Please, please just take me to a scene, I haven't seen since 84 When channels three, two, one, no more were finnished by the test card scheme A white noise, kids can't comprehend, Was all there left to see The constant stream of images Accompany My Dreams The colony of office goers The students and apprentices Assistants and those they assist in Whatever trade or business They're driven by their daily routines To get up early, stay up late Bag ladies and some back-street creatures fighting over junk and booze The passengers are not amused

Family Tree 04:10
Family Tree Crazy birds Sit in those trees Won't prolly fall off If you're shaking them leaves Would not come down If you'd orange them crowns Would not fly away If you'd timbered them all Cause they can't really die, Cause they can't be wiped out They will stick to your mind Forever 'll be in your blood Not passing, returning In past tense recurring In scenes everlasting Accomplish nothing Taking a place in that tree Supposedly your family.... Grey sheep run Their course to look white But soon they are black Not only at night To single one out That is pure and divine You have to look close, You have to inquire Cause they can't change their clothes And they wait for that trim And they don't really mind Looking almost like skinned Not protesting Not kicking Not biting But licking The hand of a fat man Accepting his fucked plan

Undecided 04:21
Undecided How could it be? You're undecided! I thought you could not hide A voice loud and clear We always thought You could provide it! A voice you wouldn't hide Suddenly disappeared. Falling up the stairs Pretend they where not there You bump your knees Supress the tears It's hard to bear Having finally reached the top You turn around You can't stop Counting back the even numbers Have to finish this job Rub your palms until they bleed By washing hands you can succeed Sanitzers, equalizers, it's the drill we need As long as you can keep the faith A life's worth living after this wave Ride the tiger, not too bright, You find it hard to make that change

about

During the pandemic, go nogo's songwriter Markus 'Fred' Scholl started learning how to play the guitar. He naturally picked up lessons fast, so that after half a year of practicing, he already started to write songs on that instrument. Exploring the intricacies of the axe, he developped a style that is at parts subtle, at other times in your face. You'll get the first punk-rockish, rather traditional sounding "Family Tree" which features Nils A. Crauser of Loony, the band Scholl played drums with for 10 years, on rhythm and lead guitar. So this is like a leftover which has not found a spot in the remaining go nogo catalogue. All other tracks are rather recent and some of them have pensive topics, like "Scenes from 84" which is reminiscent of a quieter life, before we started to gaze at screens 24/7. "Undecided" deals with the alarmist times in which we live, when everybody is dropping opinions to political issues like a bomb. Those tracks are in part "rockish", but in other spots typically leftfield go nogo-territory. "Tyranny of Choice" has a hip-swinging upbeat, almost Britpoppish flavor. It is soundtrack for a piece of lesson from one of 'Fred''s heros: Mr. Andrew Weatheral, DJ and producer who gave a speech on how he has to make decisions over production issues.
