Another change of pace in the album, with its beat borrowed from a Jackson 5 remix, "No Big Deal" has a nostalgic flair. This gets enhanced by genuine instrumentation you expect to hear in a song from the 60s/70s: Melotron strings and flutes, semi-accoustic bass lines, and psychedelic Glockenspiel. Lyricwise, "No Big Deal" is about the shifting of moral codes and increasing acceptance of bully-like behavior in the wake of populism.
